Celebrating a Decade of Partnership with IKEA- Co-creating Change

This year we celebrate 10 years of partnership with IKEA - a significant milestone in Rangsutra’s journey.. towards social change and economic progress. We cherish the partnership, it has helped us grow, and played a significant role in helping us achieve our goal of creating regular work for women in remote rural villages of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Through our  partnership we have learned that every small step counts - from improving one’s skills, learning new ones, doing one’s bit, helping each other, all towards ensuring that we generate work for our artisans in the villages where they live. Our partnership with IKEA has spurred us on to establish  village centres, which over the years, have become spaces for learning and development- for many women, many of whom had not had the  opportunity of schooling.

Rangsutra Artisans working on IKEA Cushion Cover

The latest MAVINN collection is all about appreciating artisanal craft that goes into making unique accessories for the home.. Rangsutra's contribution to the MÄVINN collection features handcrafted cushion covers and a rug, crafted with the intention of making use of all materials. These colorful products resonate perfectly with the vibrant personalities of our artisans, creating job opportunities for 100 weavers and 100 embroiderers to showcase their skills. The addition of a hand-embroidered heart on the cushion cover serves as a heartfelt greeting from all the dedicated artisans involved.

The collection is available in IKEA stores in India.
